It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Audrie Lorraine Pelosi, who died on May 30, 2026, at the age of 30 following a tragic climbing accident in southwestern Wisconsin.
Born on February 19, 1996, in the Duluth, Minnesota area, Audrie lived a life defined by adventure, kindness, and an unwavering passion for the outdoors. Raised along the shores of Lake Superior, she developed a deep love for nature from an early age, embracing snowboarding, climbing, hiking, cycling, and exploring the rugged landscapes she cherished throughout her life.
Audrie was known throughout the outdoor community for her enthusiasm, generosity, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. Her career reflected her passions, with roles at Ski Hut in Duluth, Viking Ski Shop in Chicago, Wildside Action Sports in Baraboo, Bella Vita Coffee, and Apex Adventure Alliance. Through her work and mentorship, she inspired countless people to pursue adventure and discover confidence in the outdoors.
Audrie shared a beautiful love story with her husband, Jimmy “The Fox” Robinson. The couple met through their shared passion for snowboarding and were married on February 22, 2023, atop Mount Bohemia in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, surrounded by family, friends, and the mountain landscapes they loved.
She will be remembered for her sharp wit, adventurous spirit, compassionate heart, and deep devotion to her family, friends, and beloved three-legged dog, Chili Dog. Audrie especially treasured her role as an aunt, creating lasting memories with her ten nieces and nephews.
Audrie is survived by her husband, Jimmy Robinson; her parents, Heather Schweiger and Paul (Penny) Pelosi; her grandparents, John Schweiger and Joseph A. Pelosi Sr.; her siblings, Lindsay (Nelson) del Valle, Shannon Pelosi, Joseph Pelosi, and Isaac Schweiger; her step-siblings, Kelsey Rutchasky, Elijah Brant, Hailey Brant, Shaye Brant, and Rayna Arndt; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Though her life was cut far too short, Audrie’s legacy of adventure, love, and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
