It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christian Miller, a 19-year-old resident of Philpot, Kentucky, who tragically passed away following a motorcycle crash in Daviess County. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, emergency responders were dispatched at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, to the 6300 block of Luther Taylor Road near Philpot after reports of a single-vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, authorities located Christian Miller near a crashed motorcycle in a water-filled ditch.
Preliminary findings indicate that Miller was traveling northbound when he lost control of his motorcycle for unknown reasons, resulting in the fatal crash. Despite rapid response efforts from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, fire departments, police, and emergency medical services, Christian was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries.
