Rob Herzog Obituary Wainwright, Alberta Accident: In Loving Memory Of Beloved Couple Killed In Tragic AB Crash

The communities of Vermilion and Wainwright, Alberta, are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Rob and Pam Herzog, beloved husband and wife of 28 years, who passed away together on May 29, 2026, at the ages of 54 and 52. Their passing has left a profound void in the hearts of their family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing them.

Rob and Pam shared a remarkable life built on love, devotion, and a deep commitment to their family. Through nearly three decades of marriage, they created a home filled with compassion, laughter, and unwavering support. Their greatest pride was their family, and they will be lovingly remembered by their children, Megan (Denton) Johnston, Kelsey (Aaron) Chabaylo, and Jared (Sarah) Herzog, as well as their cherished granddaughter, Oaklyn Johnston.

Pam is survived by her parents, Harold and Diane Baldwin, along with her siblings, brothers, sisters-in-law, and her chosen sister, Cori Maron. Rob is survived by numerous family members who will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude. Together, Rob and Pam leave behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by their kindness and generosity.

Their family also remembers those who preceded them in death, including their beloved grandson, Theo James “TJ” Chabaylo, niece Taeya Maron, Rob’s parents Bert and Gladys Herzog, brothers Ross, Mark, and Neil Herzog, and brother-in-law Neil Ganton.

Those who knew Rob and Pam speak of a couple whose lives were defined by selflessness, hard work, and a genuine care for others. Their legacy lives on through the values they instilled in their children and the countless memories shared with loved ones over the years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the Vermilion Regional Centre. As family and friends gather to honor their memory, Rob and Pam Herzog will be remembered with love, gratitude, and lasting affection.
