Josh Fuller of Dayton, Ohio, tragically lost his life following a shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon on North Main Street, leaving family, friends, and community members mourning a devastating loss.

According to preliminary reports, Dayton police officers responded around 2:00 p.m. to the 2400 block of North Main Street after receiving calls about a shooting near a convenience store. When emergency crews arrived, they found Josh Fuller suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died despite lifesaving efforts.

Investigators stated that several juvenile suspects reportedly approached Fuller in what authorities believe may have been an attempted robbery. Around the same time, officers also responded to a separate crash near Riverside Drive and Norman Avenue involving a vehicle that struck a tree. Detectives are working to determine whether the crash may have any connection to the fatal shooting.
