One friend recalled an unforgettable summer road trip with Mark to Gillian Davis’ cottage, where an unexpected encounter with a raccoon in rural Michigan led to a damaged vehicle and an unusual motel stay. What could have been a stressful experience became a cherished adventure because of Mark’s humor, optimism, and ability to find joy in every situation.
The trip continued with a memorable week at the cottage, filled with laughter, time spent by the dock, and dancing to Donna Summer music—a reflection of the fun-loving spirit that defined Mark.
